Extremely Rare Murano Barovier Pulegoso Glass Golden Drops Lamp 1950

  
EXTREMELY RARE MURANO BAROVIER PULEGOSO GLASS " GOLDEN DROPS " LAMP 1950. From Murano Italy early 1950's This stunning hand made Murano Art Glass lamp has a central core of Pulegoso glass :- millions of tiny bubbles giving an opaque white appearance which is then cased in a thick clear layer then large drops of clear glass that have picked up gold foil before being applied to the surface. The whole appearance is reminiscent of icicles and snow. Note in the last photo there is an image of lamp with a shade this is just to give an idea of what it could look like as it does not come with a shade. I'll leave that to the new owner to suit their own taste.

Condition :- Great original usable condition. Size :- 13 " (33cm) High the glass base , and 27 " (69 cm) total Height. Please note my photography does not do this great piece of Barovier Murano Art Glass justice. Great for your collection of Mid Century Modern design or Art Glass and displays wonderfully a real eye stopper.
