Blenko Limited Edition Ganymede 2419S - Luna Perfume Bottle. The Luna Pefume Bottle is brand new for 2024, introduced as part of a 3 item Valentines Day line. Ganymede, a new short-lived color for 2024, was made using the same formula as Rosè, a color offered only in 1963 and 1964. Made using a very expensive rare earth mineral called neodymium, Ganymede subtly changes color from a lighter purple to more of a pinkish color depending on the light source and how it's hitting the bottle. Unfortunately for all of us, Blenko had a lot of problems with this color in terms of quality.

Following a furnace mishap, they decided to no longer produce this color for the rest of 2024. This decanter is sure to be a collectors item in no time, due to the very rare color and the limited quantities this was made in. Please ask questions if you have any or would like to see more pictures. There are a few minor inclusions and bubbles, and some very minor striations that you can only see if held to direct light. This one is MUCH PINKER than my other listing. See last photo for comparison. This listing is for ONLY the one that is pinker.
