He was responsible for the engraving on the "Mayflower" glass and also the "Investiture glass" and was held in such high esteem that he features on the first page of Hajdamach book - chapter: copper wheel engraving. He would have been taught by others, who were rubbing shoulders with the likes of William Fritsche and Frederick Kny. Absolutely stunning COPPER WHEEL engraved glass bell commemorating 100 years since the death of " Charles Dickens " The quality of the engraving is to a very high standard and so textured that it adds depth and tone to the scene.

The reverse is 3 bells with rope tie tassels and inscribed within the bow is 1970. Beautifully finished with an air twist stem, clanger and is signed c p kimberley and No 02 of a limited edition and a very rare find. Photos of info is just for reference only... Lots of close up pics and any questions, just ask. Measures 6 4/8" high x 3 4/8" wide base and weighs 410g which is heavy for its size. In excellent condition with no chips cracks or nibbles.

Noted very tiny fine couple of scratches which do not notice see photo and due to the handmade nature striations, whip marks and maybe inclusions but we were checking through a magnifier, so would not normally notice and are a part of the manufacture.
