Fenton Favrene Sandcarved Peacock and Handpainted Wisteria Vase, Only 50 Made. This is a gorgeous vase that is sandcarved, handpainted and it also incorporates the iridescence of carnival glass in the rim and bottom edge of the vase. It is signed by all three artists; Kelsey Murphy, Bomkamp and S. Waters, who is the artist that did the handpainting.

The base is hard to describe - the iridescence of the carnival glass can be seen through the glass of the base and it comes through as looking like shelf wear in a 1/4 wide band around the outer edge of the base. It is not shelf wear however, it is original to the piece and is merely the reflection of the carnival glass. This vase has been kept in a box most of it's lifetime and was only on display for one year.

There is an area closer to the center of the base, to the bottom right of the "F" that may be shelf wear even though it is smooth to the touch. This is an extremely beautiful and rare vase and I believe it is in excellent condition, and would be an wonderful addition to any collection.
