LARGE HEAVY (4.3kg) Cristalleries de Lorraine VASE/ICE BUCKET/PUNCH BOWL LEMBERG Limited Edition 441 of 500 SIGNED. This is an absolutely stunning Cristalleries de Lorraine crystal ice bucket, which could have many other uses. The ice bucket is mouth blown and hand cut in France. It is etched on the base with piece number 441 of 500 from this incredibly magnificent limited edition production and hand signed by the glassmaker (S MARIE). It has been stored in a glass display cabinet from new and is in excellent condition. The Cristallerie de Lorraine glassworks were founded in Lemberg, northeast France in 1925, and closed their doors for good in 1997. Hence, not only is this a limited edition piece, but it is no longer possible to acquire any new pieces at all from this exquisite glassmaker. The design with it scalloped cross hatched swags and downward slashes. Gives a spectacular effect and light display with the reflective and refracted brightness.
