2024 West Virginia Day Piece, Wavelength. The 2024 WV'Birthday' piece is an approximately 15-inch charger (wide, shallow bowl) in classic Crystal with intricate white glass powder tracework in a diamond optic pattern to create a beautiful, radiating geometric design. Inspired by West Virginia's critical role in contemporary space exploration, Wavelength pays homage to the largest steerable radio telescope in the world - the Green Bank Telescope, located in the mountains of West Virginia. The radio telescopes at Green Bank have been profoundly influential, and are a testament to Appalachian ingenuity and American engineering.

Only removed from shipper box for photos. It is handmade so minor imperfections may exist in glass but it will arrive to you exactly as I received it.

No chips, breaks, or cracks. Signed in etching by John Blenko and artist.
