PERTHSHIRE ACORN & OAK LEAF LTD PAPERWEIGHT by STUART DRYSDALE with BOX & CERT

  
On offer is a truly beautiful paperweight from Perthshire Paperweights of Crieff, Scotland. This is the Acorn and Oak Leaf weight designed by Stuart Drysdale and it is described as an unusually faceted weight containing a pair of acorns and oak leaves, the whole set on a very fine latticinio basket. The top is concave and there are multiple facets around the barrel shaped body. The base has a 1981 dated cane with a P for Perthshire. Limited edition: certificate numbered 18 out of an edition of 300 pieces. Approx imate size : 51.5mm (2") high and 59mm (2.3") in diameter. The penny is shown for size comparison. Approximate weight: 290 grams (10.2 oz). Condition: the paperweight is in very good vintage condition with just a tiny chip to the base which is shown greatly magnified in the pictures. The box is complete with just a few scuffs and a numbered yellow sticker. The certificate is very lightly creased and curled to fit over the weight. Complete with its original box and certificate and with the Perthshire label to the base.
