A rare SVEN PALMQVIST RAVENNA Glass vase. Designed by Sven Palmqvist and made by Orrefors of Stockholm, Sweden.

This example was produced in 1989, the inscription reads........... RAVENNA GALLERY 47 - 89. An identical bowl can be seen on the BUKOWSKI'S AUCTIONS (Sweden).

From a sale dated 22 - 10 - 2016 with inscribed numbering reading 13 - 89. 250mm x 180mm (Diameter x Height), made in a deep Blue coloured. Glass in a thick clear glass body with an amber beadlike internal. Originally designed in 1949, this piece was produced. In 1989 and numbered 47 , with an ORREFORS adhesive label.
