Tim Mara Wire Glass and Carrier Bag. This superb work is signed and dated 96 in pencil, and numbered 80/100 in pencil.

Collections: Government art collection, British Council, V&A museum. It was issued as part of the Royal College of Art Centenary Year Porfolio of Prints in 1996. Printed on mouldmade paper especially commissioned by the College fromSt Cuthberts Mill, published by the RCA as a folio of 12 prints by various artists. 76.5 x 56.6 cm sheet.

Never framed, stored in folio, in super condition. An experimental and groundbreaking printmaker, who trained at the Royal College of Art.

He was Professor of Printmaking at the Royal College of Art from 1991 until his death. His compositions were likened to the 1970s pop art movement, although he did not wish to be thought of as a pop artist, his heroes being Piero della Francesca, Velasquez and Vermeer. He has works in the Tate and the V&A.
