Stunning, heavy Waterford Limited Edition Crystal Meagher decanter in original box. Designed by Billy Briggs for the Waterford Crystal Designers Gallery. Created to honour the memory of Thomas Francis Meagher, a 19th century hero in both Ireland and America.
Arched cuts represent the crossed swords of freedom, while large olives symbolise a new era of enlightenment. Slender olives and uprights are influenced by the Union Army's'Fighting 69th', a brigade of Irishmen in the American Civil War. Topped with a multi-faceted stopper. This item is number 615 of a limited edition of 2,500. Waterford mark and edition number etched to base.In original box, with Waterford paperwork and Designers Gallery Certificate of Authenticity. Paper label with edition number still affixed to decanter.
