Whitefriars Pre-production Trial Large USA Flag Paperweight - designed by Geoffrey Baxter. Bought from the private Collection of Earnest Miller, father of Stuart Miller (Whitefriars Assistant to the Chief of Design Geoffrey Baxter) along with a number of other trial pieces, friggers and one-off Experimental Pieces of Whitefriars Glass. Stuarts father Earnest took a keen interest in Stuarts work and amassed a large collection of rare and experimental pieces which Geoffrey Baxter would give to Stuart from his office or the design department at Whitefriars, to take home to his father to add to his collection. This would have been part of a design trial that was at a later date put into production, a real gem amongst whitefriars paperweights. A stunning and beautiful design which adds quality and rarity to any display.

Good condition with no obvious damage. Sure to be the envy of any paperweight collection.
